Timber Harvests in the US and Canada Rising the Past Four Years as the Result of Higher Log Trade and Lumber Production

Increased North American log exports and higher softwood lumber production in the US and Canada have resulted in a steady rise in timber harvests on the continent from 2009 to 2013. However, despite the recent upward trend in log production,
